Omensight is a unique murder mystery that excels in narrative but is hindered by elementary combat.

The graphics are realistic, stunning, and immersive. There are some bugs and annoyances, but an upcoming patch will address at least some of those. This is an RPG for those who enjoy a deep, pronounced story with a focus on realism.

The moments I did have a good time were few and far inbetween, often overlooked and bogged down by repetitious fights and long periods of grinding out moves and experience. The glitches I experienced were numerous, but thankfully Sloclap is aware of most of these problems and is releasing patches to help eliminate them, while also adding new features. If you’re looking for crazy flashy combos and special moves, this isn’t the title for you. While Absolver is a fighting game, it’s a far cry from the likes of Street Fighter, Tekken, or Injustice. With many moves grounded in reality, or at least inspired by them, Absolver’s combat system still requires strategy, but even moreso patience — a quality for which many do not play fighting games.

While it's commendable that a two-man team set out to create an adventure of relatively broad scope, I can't recommend Hero, especially not at its current price point. It does have decent music and sound effects, but the lackluster graphics, lack of polish and uninspired gameplay are too glaring to ignore.

Black & White Bushido is an arena fighting game between light and shadow samurai. Battle for control of the light or the dark in multiple arenas, hiding from your foes and striking when they least expect it.
