The worst I can say about Star Story is that I want more of it. I want endgame payoff for storylines that aren't finished. I want more technology and research options because I like the crafting system. I want that rogue guy who gave me his teleport beacon and the soldier who said we'd meet again to cheer for me after the final boss fight. I want to fail even more at making friends with shrimp.
Holy Potatoes! We’re in Space?! is now free to play - up until the first galaxy, that is! Have you always been bugging your reluctant friend to buy and play Holy Potatoes! We’re in Space?! Well, now they have no excuse - they can have a taste of the potatoverse and try it for free!
Make your way through hundreds of star systems as you fight to a find a successful life. Enemies are generated immediately after you leave a station. They will follow you across the solar system, but if you're having trouble, you may warp away. The AI isn't intelligent, and players shall quickly learn how to outmaneuver NPC tactics.
Stars in Shadow is relatively simple and inviting for newcomers to the 4X strategy genre, but also features original mechanics to intrigue 4X veterans, and everything is brought together with a fun, cartoonish art style that complements the fantastical races and nature of this space exploration strategy game.
Boxelware is ambitiously throwing together many aspects of the open-world space sims and combining the result with the ‘building’ genre that is all the rage these days. The challenge moving forward will be to balance the game so that players enjoy a consistently good experience across the different styles of play that Avorion allows.
While I’m hard pressed to say the $25.00 price tag is something it lives up to at the current level of graphical and audio polish, I can see the mechanical strength of the title making it worth the investment for a particular sort. At the very least, I would certainly count myself among them.
A well polished, strategy/tower defense geared towards player-created content. With its huge array of tools available, and a robust player base, Particle Fleet: Emergence is a great pick up for anyone looking for a game to sink multiple hours into.
The backstory surrounding the mysterious events you find yourself in are beautifully thought out, with motives and perspectives changing your own thoughts and opinions of what happened on the Nautilus. If you enjoy a good story, do yourself a favor and have a little chat with Kaizen.
All things considered, in spite of its bugs, I love it, but as is, it barely maintains my recommendation, which breaks my heart. I have to give a six for now, but if it gets fixed, I will update my review.
I hope that Codex Worlds improves from where they started. I’d recommend Infinium Strike to anyone who enjoys arcade style defense games because that fits this game better than PC tower defense. It’s fun for a few hours, but after you experience everything and try to push it higher, it grows dull.
A unique blend of space sim, RPG and 4X games. Conduct research and construction in your own gigantic space station, command your war fleets and heroic companions to invade enemy territory, build up your stronghold, trade, mine, salvage and remind your enemies why they fear you.
Those familiar with Paradox or grand strategy may find that Stellaris isn't quite as deep as HOI, CK2 or even EU4, but it has more than enough to keep space fans consumed for hours, and enough variety to keep each playthrough unique. The lore is awesome. The custom ship designs are awesome. The map and visuals are awesome. If you're a Star Trek fan, a BattleStar Galactica fan, a Star Wars fan, a Dune fan, or even if you just looked up at the stars one day and thought “woah...” then Stellaris is for you!
Treachery, brutality, and witchcraft crash against all sides of the Imperium of Man, long beset in all corners by the endless tides of war, and beneath all bubbles the insidious scourge of disloyalty.
Starpoint Gemini: Titans is an addition to the existing stories where players will be able to pick up where they stopped and simply continue on playing. Titans will give you a small taste of what Starpoint Gemini: Warlords, our next big project, is trying to achieve.

Explore a neon galaxy in your very own battleship in this 1- to 4-player couch co-op adventure. Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is a video game developed by Asteroid Base for Microsoft Windows, OS X, Playstation 4, Linux, and Xbox One. The project is part of the ID@Xbox program.
I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I fired up STASIS for the first time. Based on the limited materials I had previously been exposed to, I assumed it was a standard isometric shooter. I was dead wrong. Its roots are deep in the point-and-click exploration genre of yesteryear, complete with pre-rendered 3D backgrounds and character animations. WASD is not welcome here. Time is NOT an issue. Brain Activity IS required.
