    2. Confirming Participation: Players who register will be sent an email Monday, October 1 asking to confirm their participation. Reminder emails will be sent to unconfirmed players throughout the week. This confirmation period will close on Thursday, October 4 at 5:00 pm EST. Players who fail to confirm their participation will be automatically disqualified and their spot in the tournament will be taken by a player from “The Bench” (see bench rules 3.4).
