Half Past Fate is really fun. It has a consistent plotline, several love stories, and a fair bit of information about tea. Pair all of that with the Animal House ending (where they tell you what happens to everyone) makes for some great gameplay.

Cook, serve, fun? Indeed! This Early Access game delivers on its promise of a fast-moving cooking environment. Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! is definitely fun and worth your time. With its rapid-fire recipes and constant traveling, each stop on the map brings something new to the gameplay.

A humorous and beautifully drawn point-and-click adventure, Angelo and Deemon: One Hell of a Quest is fun to play, but unfortunately falls flat story-wise.

Despite its brutal third act, Metal Wolf Chaos XD is big, loud, and silly in all the best ways.

A dream come true for action fans of all types, My Friend Pedro adds a fresh coat of paint to its classic flash game predecessor by incorporating new mechanics and improved visual flair.

Although gameplay for non-VR players feels like an afterthought, Trover Saves the Universe is an off-the-cuff experience with hilarious writing that ends far too soon.

Chook and Sosig: Walk the Plank is a charming point-and-click adventure title that offers fun for all ages. Despite a few errors in execution, the humor, premise, and choice of endings offers something for everyone to enjoy.

A resource management game that’s easy to pick up and doesn’t take a lot of thought to play, but unfortunately lacks depth and becomes stale after a minimal amount of time spent with it.

A successful PC port with exceptional storytelling that lacks important control options and falls short of expectations in certain technical areas.

While pacing and the talent tree could use some improvement, Attack of the Earthlings is otherwise an enjoyable and entertaining release. This refreshing take on the traditional monster-in-space story melds lightheartedness with simple-but-fulfilling strategy.

Genital Jousting is a stylish, unique game that doesn’t have the cojones to warrant its current market price. Bringing this game home will leave you feeling cheated and unsatisfied after spending some time in bed with it — but that doesn’t mean it’s a completely lost cause.

If your goal is to never have an interaction beyond your basement, this game delivers. Otherwise, its only function is to give players a few laughs and severe second-hand embarrassment. Alternatively, it could be turned into a drinking game with your buddies: Take a shot every time the camera goes out of focus, the acronym “PUA” is said, or there’s an opportunity to whip Big Richie out.

This light-hearted visual novel is the equivalent of indulging in a giant piece of chocolate cake. You know it's not what your doctor would recommend; it's mostly empty calories. But nevertheless, it looks amazing, the rush from the sugar is pleasing, and you enjoy every single bite.

Developer Free Lives and consenting partner Devolver Digital have today let Genital Jousting burst out of Early Access so it can satisfy everyone with a meaty new story mode featuring an inspirational tale of self-improvement.

The Jackbox Party Pack 4 includes six (well, five and a half) new Jackbox party titles for a quick laugh with a lot of friends or family. The different titles included can be fun, and if your friends and family are crazy, they can be a blast; enjoyment really falls down how rowdy you’re willing to be.

Even those who don’t normally play point-and-clicks can enjoy Darkestville Castle, but only the die-hard devotees of the genre will be able to persevere past the inevitable and frequent bouts of frustration from struggling through convoluted puzzles. An intriguing story and captivating art style round off this puzzling puzzler.

If you loved the first Cook, Serve, Delicious!, then you'll probably love Cook 2, as well. While there are major bugs for the Mac version right now, there are only minor bugs for Windows. I feel like using a mouse and keyboard will always feel somewhat constraining, however, although improvements to the gameplay could alleviate that feeling somewhat. As Cook 2 stands now, it is compelling, with plenty to enjoy in it, although ultimately the dish feels a bit stale.

Four worlds don’t seem like much to explore, but each one is packed with Golden Tape to collect, challenges to complete, and areas to investigate. Any bugs encountered were relatively minor – really, the only problems dealt with achievements and puzzles. Unbox: Newbie’s Adventure is an enjoyable 3D platforming experience, and a must-get for irreverent boxophiles and box-wannabes the world over.

While The Franz Kafka Videogame ends up feeling a tad pretentious in its use of Kafka’s name, the artwork and some of the puzzles are worth appreciating. Bits and pieces can be frustrating, and the short play time is a downside, but fans of experimental point-and-click adventures might still want to check this one out.

While not everything works, the cartoonish world of Viktor, a Steampunk Adventure shines, and the comedic-relief factor makes it an even more worthwhile addition to a point-and-click library. Although it's a relatively short journey – roughly four to five hours, give or take a few mini-games – the lasting quality of the humor and overall narrative make this title stand out in a sea of puzzle-laden adventure games.
