It’s Mayhem Monday, Agents! When LEGION's most sinister troops are wreaking havoc and MAYHEM needs to get the job done, Persephone calls on The Firing Squad.

Ladies first

Scheherazade, the Iranian enigmatic assassin, has a thousand stories about her past and no one knows the truth, no one that is, apart from Persephone. Incredibly mobile and incredibly deadly Scheherazade fights with her sword or debilitating knives and has the speed to vanish only to reappear next to her target. When melee and evasion are not enough, Scheherazade uses the support of the rest of her team.

A former yakuza assassin, Oni left the world of organized crime to join MAYHEM. From behind the mempo mask, Oni radiates an aura of fear that weakens most enemies before he uses his pistols to deal a fatal kill-shot.

Last but not least, Stilwater born and raised, hip-hop wannabe star Pierce Washington was recruited into MAYHEM after Persephone witnessed his capabilities on Devil’s Night, and he became Kingpin. While able to cover any situation with his machine gun, when the going gets tough, Kingpin calls down an irresistible musical force that hypnotizes enemies into a dancing fever they will never walk away from.

Showing no mercy, morally flexible and occasionally reliable, The Firing Squad are the team of choice.

About teleportation

With the teleport technology capability of MAYHEM, agents in your squad are able to instantly teleport into and out of combat. This allows on-the-fly swapping of agents in the field, allowing one to heal while another takes their place, or allowing the best agent for a particular fight or task in your squad of three to replace the currently active one.

Agents of MAYHEM is a single-player, open-world, third-person action game releasing on August 15, 2017. For more information and to get the latest updates on the game, follow on Twitter at @aomthegame or on Facebook at Facebook.com/aomthegame, or visit aomthegame.com.

Raiders of the Broken Planet just isn’t there yet. While an alpha build of the title showed promise, the title has much development ground to cover yet. Raiders of the Broken Planet isn’t half-baked: it barely got into the oven before players were encouraged to start eating the dough.

  • Absolver Review

The moments I did have a good time were few and far inbetween, often overlooked and bogged down by repetitious fights and long periods of grinding out moves and experience. The glitches I experienced were numerous, but thankfully Sloclap is aware of most of these problems and is releasing patches to help eliminate them, while also adding new features. If you’re looking for crazy flashy combos and special moves, this isn’t the title for you. While Absolver is a fighting game, it’s a far cry from the likes of Street Fighter, Tekken, or Injustice. With many moves grounded in reality, or at least inspired by them, Absolver’s combat system still requires strategy, but even moreso patience — a quality for which many do not play fighting games.

  • Tooth and Tail Review

Tooth and Tail, also known as the Angry Russian Mouse Arcade RTS Partygame, is an innovation in perhaps the most stagnant (and one of my personal favorite) genres in gaming. It's an RTS you can play on a console, and it rewrites the RTS rulebook to force fast, ferocious partygame-style matches that still play like a strategy game. And if that weren't enough, it's beautiful and has a killer story to boot. No detail is left unpolished in this one; definitively one of the most unique and successful experiments in gaming this year, and just a good time, period.

  • Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite Review

Regardless of the complaints, Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite proves to earn its place in the powerful series laid out before it. Furthermore, the genre of 2D fighters is a very familiar concept, with a rich history and a dense family of games taking after it. Often, these games can seem too generic to stand out or to feel worthy of any time given, but conversely, many of these games try too hard to make something of themselves, and result in a game far too complex and clunky to be enjoyed in any way. Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, however, treads this line perfectly and offers an engaging experience born out of a classic style.

  • Prime Arena Preview

Prime Arena as it stands today is a fantastic taste of what a game it truly could be. It has stunning potential if it can fully deliver on the brilliant concept, but for now, it is falling short. That being said, it is only in alpha testing stages still, and the developers are very active in seeking out feedback from their community to better the game. In the period of time it has taken to write this review, strong changes have already been seen, improving the game drastically in real time. Prime Arena may only be in its early stages, but it is constantly evolving, and is more than worth keeping an eye on.

Featuring dynamic environments, a single player campaign and several multiplayer modes, Bannermen offers a fresh take on the RTS genre with features never before seen in a real-time strategy game. The main tasks consist of base building, resource management and battling enemy armies with maps and missions that vary both in length and shape.
